Media Passport: Kwik-Case® and Clear-Vu One-TimeTM secure and protect media items while efficiently streamlining and enhancing digital media security through an automated process. Media Passport stops theft of media items such as CDs and DVDs, protecting your investments and streamlining the patron check-out experience.
Utilizing radio frequency identification (RFID) technology and Kwik-Case® and Clear-Vu One-TimeTM security cases, the item information is logged at check-out. Media Passport confirms that the correct item is checked out before unlocking the case.
With Secure Media Check-Out, a routine check-out transaction activates the Media Passport to unlock the case, allowing the library patron to remove the media item from its security case. The opener senses items on it and activates, and the patron can remove items from the case.
Media Passport is integrated with Tech Logic's powerful self check-out software, CircIT.
