Introducing baseCAMP—Tech Logic's Central Management Portal
With our launch of baseCAMP, Tech Logic's products are coming together into one web-based management portal. This means that library staff will be able to manage Tech Logic solutions from any PC or tablet with access (including remote access) to the library network.

How does baseCAMP benefit Tech Logic's partner libraries?
Tech Logic plans to integrate all of our solutions into baseCAMP in order to bring powerful web-based collaboration, administration, and reporting capabilities to Tech Logic products and operations across the library.
With the present release, here are some of the most impactful benefits that you should expect with your installation of the new baseCAMP application:
1. baseCAMP integrates selfCIRC, rfidGATE, and batchTRANSIT management within one web-based application. More Tech Logic integrations are coming soon!
Library staff can log in to baseCAMP and manage their selfCIRC, rfidGATE, and batchTRANSIT systems from any PC or tablet with access (including remote access) to the library network. Soon, this will be the case for all Tech Logic solutions (for example, totalAMH and staffCIRC TRAK).
2. baseCAMP empowers staff to simultaneously apply configurations to any or all selfCIRC or rfidGATE terminals across any or all branches.
From any PC or tablet with access (including remote access) to the library network, staff can log in to baseCAMP and (assuming they have the proper permissions) can configure their selfCIRC or rfidGATE systems at the terminal, branch, or library level.
3. With baseCAMP, library staff can gain valuable insights by viewing, customizing, and exporting statistical reports.
Working from any PC or tablet with access (including remote access) to the library network, staff can explore pre-configured or custom reports. Key insights include self-check circulations, self-check sessions and patron experience, fine/fee transaction logs, people counts, and alarm-triggered items (including ILS information)—filterable by date, time, branch, terminal, and more.
4. Library team leaders can control visibility and permissions for their staff at various levels throughout baseCAMP.
Don't want your staff members to be distracted by anything other than their assigned branches and products? With baseCAMP, team leaders can set visibility and permissions for each library staff member based on user role, library branch, baseCAMP functionality, and more—all from any PC or tablet with access (including remote access) to the library network.
5. Library staff can note, at a glance, any offline selfCIRC, staffCIRC, and rfidGATE terminals.
Library staff can see online status for all of their selfCIRC, staffCIRC, and rfidGATE terminals at a glance and note visual alerts for any terminals that, for any reason, are offline. Staff members can accomplish this from any PC or tablet with access (including remote access) to the library network.
6. baseCAMP will streamline support procedures for our customer care team and account for Tech Logic software licenses at a glance.
With data and product statistics consolidated within the baseCAMP portal, both Tech Logic and library customers will enjoy baseCAMP as a central source of truth for updates, troubleshooting procedures, configurations, and more.
7. With baseCAMP serving as our web-based platform, Tech Logic’s products (and product developments) will be unified and streamlined with powerful web-based functionality.
Tech Logic will integrate all of our solutions (for example, totalAMH and staffCIRC TRAK) into baseCAMP in order to bring powerful web-based collaboration, administration, and reporting capabilities to operations across the library. Moving forward, Tech Logic will design new products with baseCAMP integration at their core.
