What have you learned in your time with Tech Logic?
Al: I have learned a lot about the end-user experience and how important it is to develop products that meet each library's unique needs. Tech Logic offers an amazing level of customization! We are constantly refining and tweaking our software and products to benefit our customers.
What do you enjoy most about working at Tech Logic?
Al: I care about people. I want to listen and learn. We all have different experiences, perspectives, and knowledge. I’m passionate about Tech Logic’s “People First” motto. I love being part of a company that puts people first. That starts with great teamwork among Tech Logic employees and flows through our products, enhancing the library patron and staff experience.
What are you looking forward to most about your new role?
Al: I’m looking forward to collaborating with my team. Teamwork is huge for me! Nothing happens without a team. No one person should do it all. It takes everyone to launch an excellent product.
In your opinion, what are some of the most impactful and unique ways that Tech Logic’s services and solutions empower libraries?
Al: Librarians are amazing people who genuinely care about serving others, so we want to do our best to support them. Tech Logic will go the extra mile to ensure the satisfaction of library staff and patrons. We want our products to enhance the overall library experience. In everything we do, we are mindful of our customers and their mission to provide a welcoming environment for their community.
Would you care to share any fun facts about yourself?
Al: I’m country at heart. I enjoy being in nature and by water. I enjoy fishing. I spent a lot of time in the country growing up, going between my parents' cabin on a lake and my uncle's farm, which also had a significant wooded area. These experiences included fishing, hunting, and some farm life. Any opportunity to be in nature brings me peace and relaxation.
